About:China Visa Application in UK

12 month stay in china, what kind of visa do I need?

Hi I'm looking to book a 12 month stay at a Kung fu camp and hope to go to Hong Kong afterwards. Is it possible to arrange a 12 month one or do I get 6 month one and apply for extension during my stay?how much would the total cost be?

The consular officers have the final say on what kind visa you get and how much time you can stay in China. Generally speaking, it is a bit difficult for a person who hasn't been to China to get a multiple-entry one. So I think you may apply for a double entry F type one. If you are lucky, you can stay for six months for each entry. Then you just need to get out of China after your first entry expires and re-enter again.

The cost varies according to the applicants' nationality. Perhaps you should tell us where you come from.

Hi, if you have invitation letter from the Kung Fu Camp organizer, it is possible to get a 12 month multiple entry, but as what Dean said, consular officers have final say to your application. Fee is GBP 180 for 1 year multiple, and you also need to pay extra GBP 36 to CVASC for their service.
