Can I change a Z visa to family visit one?

I want to know what is the process and how much will it cost me approx. to convert my Z type to a family type one, as my family wants to settle with me in China.

I am afraid that you can't change it. According to what I know, you can just change Z to temporary L type (not family visit one) and need to exit China first.

Hi Danny,
I think you didn't got my question. I am already on my Z, and I want my family to be with me here. I was told that I must bring my family on a L, and then convert it to a Family L, so that they can stay with me. So, on an approx. what is the cost.

Yes, that is right. You can send your family an invitation letter, copies of your passport, Z and residence permit. Marriage certificate, birth certificate are required as proof of relationship. The fee for application is the same as you apply for your work Z, it is RS. 3,621 per person.
