direction to holiday inn guangzhou shifu hotel

If i want to go to holiday inn shifu guangzhou which is located at shangxia jiu lu, how do i go there from guangzhou south railway station? If I have luggage and take the subway do i have to climb the stairs or do they have escalator. Do they have taxi direct to the hotel and if there is how much does that cost?
