Changing visas in China

My daughter had a double entry F but was told by her employer to renew it locally rather than go to Hong Kong. Her F will now expire beginning of June instead of end of August. Would she be able to get a tourist L - she has a flight booked to return to UK in August and travel plans?

To convert an F to L is possible within China. So, just visit local PSB with the invitation letter from the host. However, she can get a 30 days L at most. If she plan to leave in August, she needs to apply in HK.
