taxi from shuhe old town to lijiang ancient town

Question

We are going to LJ in June 2013.We would be staying in LJ ancient town & would visit Shuhe Old town.  We would like to go by taxi since there there's 2 of us.  Is it easy to go back to LJ ancient town from Shuhe by taxi on the return trip?How long does it take to be in Shuhe Old town including taking lunch there?  What are the interesing places to see in Shuhe?

I am not very clear about the taxi from Shuhe to LJ, because we hire a taxi to take us to reach Shuhe and back and the fare is around 30RMB.For the ancient town, it takes about four to five hours for traveling and we stay there for a whole afternoon to enjoy the leisure time.Sifang Street, Chama Square, Longquan Temple and Qinglong Bridge are worth seeing.

so the taxi will  bring  you to those different street and wait then drive back to LJ old town ?

No, it will drop you off at Shuhe Town and you can walk to the streets by yourself. All the streets and attractions are not far and inside the town.

Oh, it is not hard to take a taxi, and the cab fare between the two ancient towns is no more than CNY20.
