bringing samples and saleable stock of light bulbs back

I am going to China as a tourist but while we are there we were going to bring back some samples and saleable stock of light bulbs, will they let us bring it back through China customs? do we need to do something beforehand to make sure it is ok?

I've never heard about relevant regulations. But I remember if you wanna take samples back, you have to daclare them. Then the customs will tell you whether you need to pay tax or not. Anyway, it seems that you don't need to prepare anything beforehead.
