About:Hong Kong Visa Application

what kind of visa do I need if I am travelling without a job confirmation in HK?

I am an Indian resident and want to relocate to Hongkong. I am a software professional. Will a tourist one be sufficient until I get hired? or is there any means to apply one for working in HK?

You can not get the Z type one if you don't have an employer. Indians can stay in HK for 14 days at most with their passports. I am not sure if you can get hired in 14 days. But you may extend your stay for longer time. So I think you may find an employer and apply for the z type one immediately. However, please remember that people who come to HK for visiting purpose are not allowed to work. Don't break the rule and get yourself in trouble.
