Single Entry Visa?

We are on a Princess cruise which will be going to 3 ports in China in a row Qingdao Oct 5 Dalian Oct 6 & Tianjin Oct 7 then fly home to Canada that day. Princess Cruises have told me that we only require a single entry one. We do not go to Hong Kong. Is that correct
Thank you
