My peers have begun to ignore me and my grades aren't very high right now. i am feeling very left out from my friends and i just can't seem to make people hear me.

Be friendly to every person around and they will gradually know you more. Then they will be willing to stay with you. As for your friends, I suggest you spend some time in communicating with them or joing group activities together.
