Mainland to Hong Kong to Taiwan and back to mainland

If I were to travel through China on a tourist L, then visit Hong Kong and Taiwan, would I be allowed back to travel to Beijing on my original L. Or would I have to re-apply for a new one because I left the country.

Hi, if you want to enter twice, you can apply for a double entry tourist L. If you have already got a single entry L, you need to apply for a new one while you are in HK.
