About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

I am a Msian passport holder, can i leave airport and visit the city during layover without a visa.

The layover is 10 hours. Is there an hourly lounge at the airport?

Hi, you can apply for a stay permit if you will like to go out for a hotel. I have no idea about the hourly lounge as you did not mention which airport you will transit through.

I am transiting in Shanghai Pudong Airport for 10 hours ..so I just want to go out have a look at the city and return to the Airport later in the evening. Do i need one just for those few hours?

Yes, you need to apply for a stay permit at the Pudong airport.
