I am an Indian working in Maldives, and wish to attend the travel fair in china in june

I would like to go in June 2013 to attend the Travel Fair. what is the procedure to get visa for me. Do I have to go to Chnese embassy in India or can get it from Sri Lanka. pls advise the procedure

You can apply from the embassy in Sri Lanka if you are working in Maldives.

Do we have to make appointment to submit the application, or can we go to the Embassy in Sri Lanka and submit without appointment. pls advise

Appointment is not required, but you can also try to contact the embassy before visiting if possible.
