Clothings, shopping and vegetarian food in Guilin

I'll be visiting that city in Aug (summer). Please advise on the clothings needed, attractions, shopping and vegetarian food (preferably Chinese)

It is very hot at that time, so the summer clothes are necessary.
For the attractions, Li River, Elephant Trunk Hill, Folded Brocade Hill, Seven-Star Park, Reed Flute Cave and Wave-Subduing Hill are worth visiting.
For shopping, Zhengyang Pedestrain Street is suggested for you.
For vegetarian food, Sushiwang on 3F, Zhengyang Furniture Square, Zhengyang Pedestrain is a nice one.
