About:Macau Visa Policy

Hi! Do I need to secure a Chinese Visa if I'm only going to Shenzhen for a day visit (fr HongKong)?

I'm planning to visit Shenzhen for a day (not even 24 hours) from Hong Kong.
Thanks.

Yes, it is required. You can apply in HK if you are a resident there.

I am not a resident of Hong Kong. I will just go there for a tour. Can I still Apply there? How long would it take to process it if I am going to apply for it in HK? How much does it cost? May I know the address of the Embassy in Hong Kong?
Thanks for the reply Linda.

You can get a short visa for only Shenzhen at the lohuo border. You catch the train there on blue line. Go through hk passport control. When you walk through the complex towards china immigration you can go upstairs to a office where you can get it. I think it is a 5 day one. Takes about 10 minutes. Make sure you have rmb as you must pay for it in rmb. They will not accept any other currency

If you can not find it just ask one of the police who are standing in the halls
