how to get from kunming west hills to dianchi lake

Greetings !Is it possible to get the cable car from West Hill to the lake without having to visit the Minority Village ? I'd like to visit the Yunnan nationalities Museum close by, though, and take a boat tour on the lake. How best to arrange the transportation ? Where can I find boat tours ?Thank you for your answer and best regards.Heloise

Surely you can. Take the cable car to the hill and have a bird view of the lake. I remember you can board the cruise or boat at Haigeng Park.
