About:China Visa on Arrival

visa on arrival at Gombei border - Zhuhai

Has any Australian passport holders ever experienced difficulties getting it at Gombei border in Zhuhai?

Hi, don't worry, it is easy for you to get a VOA for Zhuhai.

Thanks Rowan. We were hoping it would be. We're only going for a couple of days to Zhuhai and it'll be a saving of about $400 for our family of 4 to get it at Gombei rather than through embassy here. But were stressing about leaving them until we got to the border.

But you should know that the VOA only allows 3 days of stay in Zhuhai. If you need to stay longer, make sure to apply in advance from the embassy.
