Best way to send a 10kg parcel from China to the USA?

My exchange student child would like to send excess clothing, books, and shoes back to the USA from China before he returns. Speed is not important but dependability is important. Being able to track it and insure it would be nice. What method would you recommend for sending a 10kg box?

I think DHL, UPS and FEDEX are three good international express companies. Besides, SF Express Company is also a pretty good one, but the price is a little bit high.
