About:Chinese Embassy in South Africa

Hong Kong and then China, first date of entry

I am travelling from South Africa to Hong Kong and then into Shanghai. On my visa form when do I put my first date of entry, the day I enter Hong Kong or the day I enter Shanghai?

It should be the date you enter Shanghai.
