About:Shantou Travel

chaozhou, chaoshan and shantou???

what is the different between this 3 places??? where is jieyang chaoshan international airport situated? in chaozhou or ST?
I want to go chaozhou, but no direct flight from singapore, but there is direct flight to shantou.
so, how far chaozhou from ST, any bus, train??

Chaozhou and ST are two different cities. Because the two place are close and they share one airport, so the local people called the two cities together as Chaoshan.
The Chaoshan airport is in Jieyang City. The airport is about 28km to ST, 22km to Jieyang and about 24km to Chaozhou.
As far as I know, there is no airport in ST now, and the flights from Singapore to Shantou will reach Jieyang Chaoshan airport and the flights are operated by Jetstar.
Upon reach Jieyang Chaoshan airport, you can find the direct buses to rach Chaozhou Hotel in Chaozhou, so please do not worry about it.
