It is located at the south part of East Asia and the west part of Chinese landscap. China, Tajikistan and Afghanistan all have some land on Pamir.7

Pamir Mountains are located in Central Asia. They lie mostly in Gorno-Badakhshan province, Tajikistan and Badakshan Province in Afghanistan. The mountains which are among the world's highest mountains were formed by the junction or knot of the Himalayas, Tian Shan, Karakoram, Kunlun as well as Hindu Kush ranges.
