Getting from Xianyang Airport to Mt. Huashan

Hi there,

I am currently planning a trip to Xi'an and Mt. Hushan. I will arrive at Xianyang Airport on a Friday evening at about 10pm. I would like to get to the foot of the mountain on the same day and stay there at a hotel so I can directly start going up the mountain in the early morning on Saturday.

So my question is, how do I get to the mountain on Friday evening from the airport. At that time there will probably be no public transportation anymore. Can I go by taxi? Will taxi drivers be willing to drive this long distance and how much would it cost me?
