buget hotels near Guangzhou airport and impotant tourist places can be easly covered in 8 hours

can not walk much

There is a 3-star hotel just near the airport, which is called New Airport Hotel at Konggang Third Road.
Or you can live in Metol 168, near Renhe Subway Station. From the airport, you can take the subway line 3 to reach Renhe for a stop to reach that hotel.
Near the airport, there is no place to visit. If you want to visit some places, you can take the airport shuttle bus line 1 to reach its terminal in about an hour. Then you can take taxi to reach Yuexiu Park and Ancestral Temple of the Chen Family for a general visit. Then you can go back to the airport.
