About:Chinese Embassy in Georgia

Visa application in Georgia from non-Georgian national

I need to apply for a L type one to China, but I am a South African national currently working in Georgia. Is it possible to obtain it at the embassy in Tbilisi or do I need to make other arrangements at a embassy in a different country? I have been getting conflicting information about the procedures for non-Georgian applicants at the Tbilisi consulate.

I think you are possible to get it in Tbilisi. You need to provide your resident permit when submitting other documents.

I do not have a residence permit, just the normal one year visa on arrival that everyone gets, I am a volunteer, so no work permit either.

Hi, citizens of foreign countries can apply only for Single-entry 30 day tourist L and ONLY by official invitation from China. Also you MUST have the temporary living certificate of Georgia.
