About:Confucius and Confucianism

As Catholic theologian, I would appreciate knowing where Confucius stood on the preeminence of God?

China has some irrational hate of Roman Catholicism. Is this the effect of the teachings of Confucius?

It is hard to tell something between the Confucius and the God. To some extent, Confucianism is not a religion and it can just be treated as an ethical and philosophical system.
The irrational hate is not the effect of the teaching of Concucius.
