MULTI China stopover VISA requirements for Australian? (Australia - Shanghai-Guangzhou-Paris)

Hi, I am looking at flights from Melbourne Australia to Paris with China Southern Airlines.

The return flight will have TWO stop overs in China.. Melbourne - Beijing - Guangzhou - Paris..
Will have 2 stopovers/domestic flight mean I have to get a tourist L..?

I have flown with China Southern last year to Europe and everything was great and taken care of (I only had one stop over there)! But this year with the new changes to the laws I am not sure..

Thank you in advance for any help!

Hi, if the time of these two stopovers together is less than 24 hours, visa is not required. You should only needs to apply for a stay permit after landing at Beijing Capital Airport.
