About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

7 days in beijin

Hi, I'm Australian, I'm going with my dad, who also has an Australian passport, to Beijing for 7 days approx and then we headed to Thailand.
I understand we need a tourist L.
I do not understand where I can fill out the form for application. Can I apply online? or I have to go personally?
My dad is in Argentina, where he would have to go on? can he apply it online?

May I know where you live? you should check the consular district first, then you can make online appointment through CVASC's website http://www.visaforchina.org/ If your dad resides in Argentina, he has to apply from the embassy there directly. Forms are available for download on this site.

I live in Argentina with my dad, but now I'm having my holiday in Australia.
I'm in australia from late March to early July.
The idea is to meet my dad in Sydney in early june and from there, go to China and then to Thailand and stay a few days in each place.

How long will you stay in Sydney? If time permits, you two can apply from the CVASC center in Sydney since you both hold Australian passports.

My dad arrives on June 8 to Sydney and got a good price passage departing on June 10. We would be there for 5 or 7 days and then we would go to thailand. For return, we have different dates, I go back to Sydney on June 28 and my dad would return on July 21.

So you just stay for three days in Sydney (June 8, 9, 10). Then you may use the rush service if you appply in Sydney. The application should be submitted before 12:00 noon and visa is ready for collection on the second working day (after 11:00A.M.).
