There is no direct bus going from Victoria Peak (on the island) to Tsimshatsui (in Kowloon). You will need to come down from the Peak by the tram or by taxi and make your way to the Star Ferry. A taxi will be the easiest way direct to the ferry, but of course the most expensive (but if there are 3 of you, then maybe not so expensive compared to coming back down by the Peak Tram). I'm not sure if there is a bus from the Peak to the Star Ferry.

The Avenue of Stars is a 2 minutes walk from the Star Ferry in Tsimshatui. Don't take the MTR as that is much further away and not as much fun as the ferry which is an icon of HK. Try to go later in the day so you see the (free) laser-light show there at 8pm each night.

There is a bus and a minibus that goes up to the Peak from Central Pier (where you can take the Star Ferry). See this website for details: http://www.thepeak.com.hk/en/2_1.asp

There are buses that go from Central Pier and minibuses from the IFC building, so presumably they follow the same route coming back down. Check this website for details: http://www.thepeak.com.hk/en/2_1.asp
