Best timing for visit to Ejina Poplar Forest

What is the best time to visit Ejina Poplar Forest and how should I get there if I am departing from Beijing ?

The high season is from end of Sep. to end of Oct.

As for the route from Beijing, you can take a plane to Yinchuan. Then at local long-distance bus station, take a bus to Alxa Left Banner, where you can transfer to a direct bus to Ejina to enjoy the forest.

Or you can take the train from Beijing to Jiuquan. At Jiuquan, there is bus on schedule to Ejina directly.
