About:2 Days Tours

hutong experience

i plan to experience hutong on my own(free & easy). what is the best way to get there from novotel xin qiao and what time should i visit hutong, morning or evening? thanks

From your hotel, you may take bus no. 60 and get off at Drum Tower Station, then walk to Houhai, where Hutongs locate. Or, you an take bus no. 111 and get off at North Gate of Beihai Station, you will find rickshaws around the Hutongs. It is fine for you to visit there both in the morning and evening. It is lovely to visit some bars there in the evening.
