The taxi fare is around 265 to 270HK$.
I think you can take the airport express to reach Kowloon Station and at this station, you can find the free shuttle bus to reach your hotel directly. Using method, you may cost about 180HK$ for you two.0

When we book the shuttle bus service from the Kowloon station, do we need to specify the exact time? Can we work on a time range? It will be difficult to predict. Is it true that there is a 2 hr wait for this particular shuttle?0

Actually, the hotel provides the shuttle bus at certain time at the Kowloon Station and the buses not very frequent. I suggest you to book with the hotel, so that you can adjust the shuttle bus time and your time.
The buses from Kowloon Station are only available at 08:30, 10:50, 12:20, 14:20, 15:50, 17:20, 18:50, 20:20 and 21:50.
If you think it is hard for you to catch their buses, you can take a taxi directly or take the buses.
From the airport, you can take bus E32 to reach TAI WO HAU RAILWAY STATION where you can take the bus 40 to reach KWUN TONG HOI YUEN ROAD. Then you can walk to reach your hotel. In all, it takes about 20HK$ and about two hours.1

Are there taxis/buses available at the Kowloon station? Maybe a better alternative for me is to take a bus or a taxi from the kowloon station to Kwan Tong. How long will it take us to reach the Kowloon station using the Express from the airport. I can just time my travel so that I catch one of the scheduled shuttle buses.0

The taxi will be very easy to catch at the Kowloon Station. It takes about 20 minutes from the airport to Kowloon Station by using the Express.0
