Where do you apply for it? If you apply in Norway, you need to provide your passport (valid for 6 months at least and with blank pages), filled application form affixed with a recent passport size photo and invitation letter from authorized Chinese organization or company. If you can't offer the invitation letter, you have to provide round trip air tickets, hotel reservation and travel itinerary.
