About:Chinese Embassy in Austria

application with invitation letter

I am a French citizen living here. I am invited by the French Embassy in China to attend a conference in Wuhan on satellite navigation, 15-17 May, and then to meet Chinese officials in Ministries and Government Agencies in Beijing on the 20th of May. I have an invitation letter from the French Embassy for this purpose. Travel costs and per diems are entierly bared by them.
I should leave Vienna for Wuhan on May 13.
Is it OK if I apply on the 29th of April?
Please confirm that the following material is requested:
-Application form
-Valid passport
-1 photo
-Letter of invitation.
I am looking forward for your answer

Hi Plattard, it is ok to apply in April 29. And note that the office will be closed on 1st May for Labor holiday. The documents are enough.

Forget to mention, your certificate or permit for Austria should be provided if any.

Many thanks.
I could apply this morning and indeed the documents were enough, except that I had to show my residence permit, which luckily I had with me.
