Late Aug trip to Jiuzhaigou.

i am planning a trip in late aug ... is it ok ??

Surely you can. But the golden travel season there is around Sep. to Oct.

You may have to book a flight if you are traveling from chengdu to jzg. I don't believe the road going from chengdu to wenchuan will be repaired by then
