I am Swiss but leaving in SSH, request Visa for China, did I need to come in person to the embassy?

I will be travelling for 1 month as a tourist. I will fly from Cairo to Bejjing.

If you can not visit the embassy in person, you can entrust others or an agency to handle application on your behalf.
