The taxi fare is around 70 to 80RMB.
If you choose to take the subway, you may need to transfer twice along the journey. From East Railway station, you can take the subway line 1 to reach Gongyuanqian Station. At this station, you can change to line 2 to reach the south railway station directly. The subway fare is 7RMB.

Thank you Judy. Can I buy the the fare for subway 1 and also subway 2 at East train station or do I buy at each transfer. Is the transfer easily done on the same platform or have to find the new subway line at different platform. Thank you once again.

You just need to buy the ticket for two lines once at the East Railway Station.
The transfer need to be done in different platform, but the transformation is easy by following the direction boards, so please do not worry about it.
