I am a Chinese girl. Noodles are often eaten in our daily life. People in northern China have a special affection for noodles. I don't think there is a specific holiday for this popular food. One usually has noodles on his / her own birthday. They are called the "longevity noodles" (Chang Shou Mian) to show good wish to live long.

On the 7th day of the Spring festival ,in the north part of China,we will eat noodle as a tradition ,and if we eat ,we can live long.
