About:China Visa on Arrival

Emergency Visa to visit critically ill family

Hello, I'm a Malaysian living in Japan and I have just been informed that my mother who is in Shejiang town, Meizhou is critically ill.
Can I get a VOA at Guangzhou airport with only a telegram from them?
What other documents do I need?

Hi, you can apply port visa with Application Form; a recently-taken half-length, bare-headed, fullfaced, two-inch photo with pale blue background; valid ordinary passport; papers supporting application for entry. The telegram concerning emergency is ok for application.

Thank you for your reply, Robin. One more question. Are the Application Forms V2011A and V2011B that is for L Type Visa?

Hi, sorry for late reply, the Form V2011A is enough. You can prepare it in advance, or get it after arrival at the port immigration.
