Hi, as I know, the embassy and consulate in China have introduced application service centres to collect visa applications. I found this officical website for appointment http://www.china.diplo.de/Vertretung/china/zh/01-service/visa/terminvereinbarung-s.html (they should choose the one based on their location.)
