Can I take the D-train from Beijing and do the visit in one day if I mainly want to see First Pass under Heavens and Laolongtou?

How far is First Pass from Laolongtou? How far is the train station from First Pass?

Yes, it is possible.
The distance between the two places is about 5km. From the train station to the first pass, there is about 900 meters.

Thank you Cindy for your response. Do you know if there is public bus between the train station, First Pass and Laolongtou, or what is the best way to get around while visiting Shanhaiguan by train from Beijing?
