About:Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding

Can I pay with a credit card for Panda Breeding and Research Center? Can I reserve a time to take a picture with a panda?

Hi, I don't think you can pay the entrance fee by credit card on the spot. And to take a picture with a panda, you don't need to reserve. Don't worry!

I do not know about the gate entrance as the tour guide paid for it as it was part of the 5 day add on. I do know that for the picture with the Panda, No credit cards or foreign currency was accepted just local currency so make sure you have enough before you go. It is $2000 RMB, but well worth it. You learn about them, help with food preparation, and yes get to hold the panda for more than a hug and a quick photo. It is with you for minimum 2 minutes. It is an awesome experience that stays with you.

The entrance fee is CNY 58 for each, while the donation for picture with panda is CNY 2, 000.
You'd better reserve it first before you go. It's high season now. Or I am not sure you can hold panda when you arrive at there. They may ask you to wait for hours sometimes.
BTW, they don't accept credit card, and they do accept foreigh currency. But it may a bit of higher than CNY 2,000. So I suggest that you should go with enough RMB.

U'd better pay by currency.it will cost u almost 2000 CNY to take photo with pandas.
