Lin Heung Tea House at No. 160-164 Wellington Street, Central and Luk Yu Tea House at G/F-3/F, 24 Stanley Street, Central are suggested for you to have local dim sum.
At night, Lan Kwai Fong is a great place to go, where you can enjoy the original pub culture of HK. Or you can go to Temple Market which is a local famous night market.
According to my experience, Causeway Bay is the best place where you can find different kinds of local snacks, so you may go there to find on your own.
