Is there any restriction on the quantities/cans of baby milk powder that we can bring into China?

My family and I will be visiting my in-laws soon and my daughter will be staying in Hainan Province for about a month...she will require about 2 and half cans of 1.7 kgs...i will like to bring some milk powder for my two neices and nephew too.

Yes, there is the restriction for the milk powder.
If you take less than 2.5kg in all, you do not need to pay the tax, otherwise, you have to declare as well as paying tax.
