About:Photography in China

Are shorts & capris allowed in Holy places? Also is photography allowed in holy places?

We are a group of 20 scheduled to leave USA for China on May 9th returning on May 27th. I was wondering if men can wear shorts and ladies can wear capris while visiting Holy place in China.

Generally, it is not allowed to wear shorts for male and capris for female in the holy places. However, different palces have different regulations. Would you tell me which holy palce you are going so that I can tell you their detailed rules?
