About:Xian City Wall

Are performances near South Gate City Wall every day in Xian?

We'll be in the city 30 April and 1 May. Are morning performances near South Gate City Wall every day? Need we some tickets or something else to see the performances?

I heard there are folk customs performances at the Suspending Bridge Square and Wengcheng City of the South Gate every day. And my friend told me that you don't have to get a ticket and just watch at the square. Anyway, the information may have changed.
