About:Shopping in Guangzhou

where's the cheapest place to buy fabrics in bulk in Guangzhou?

hi, i'll be going to GZ this weekend, and im going there to buy fabrics for clothing such as lace, chiffon, wool etc.. and ill be stating in Pearl International Hotel Yijing Road, Haizhu District.. so can you please advice where is the nearest or cheapest place we can go and buy? and how far is it from our hotel to that place? also interested in shoes & acessories.. would appreciate your help... thank you

I happen to know the International Textile City near your hotel. I am sure you can find what you want there.
It is around 1.5km from your hotel. You can walk there or take a taxi to reach exactly.

As for the shoes, you can go to the local Metropolis Shoes City, which is at No. 88, South Jiefang Road and is around 7km from your hotel. A taxi can take you there within around 15min.

What kind of accessorries do you want? Anyway, Wanfu Road is recommended for you. There you can find many stores where you may find what you want. Oh, you can find a Wanfu Boutique Plaza there. Another one shall be Taikang City Plaza at No. 111, Taikang Road, Yuexiu District. You can also have a try there. Both of the plazas are around 7-7.5km from your hotel.

thank you samel really appreciate your help...will try and see all those places you've mentioned. By the way do you know how to ship those products back home? is the shiipping area far away from where i stay? how does the prosess work coz im not familiar with it this is also my 1st time buying stuff from Guangzhou.. so is the prosess complecated? or is it easier for me to just bring it back with me by air?

Hi, it may not possible to take that back if you buy bulks. I suggest you ship them to your country. Well, for security, China Post should be the first choice. Besides, I know a shipment comany that you can turn to - Ocean Cargo Logistics Company, which is located at 3ir Floor, Huijing Mansion, No. 136, Siyou New Road, Yuexiu District.

how much is the cost rafly? do you have his contact number? is it possible for them to ship in to malaysia? how can i get to the shipping place from my hotel?
