i am staying by the Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center

I know a Qiabpu Everbright Market near your location. It is 1.3-1.5km away, so you can walk there and enjoy yourself. You can find many seafood restaurants and other entertaining items there.

To XM University, walk from where you are to Mingfa Xincheng bus stop to take bus no. 29 to Xiada West Village Station. Then you can go and visit the beautiful university. And bus no. 29 can also take you to Zengcuoan Staion, where you can experience a quiet life and the local family hostels of various styles are of great attraction.

To Gulangyu Island, walk to the nearby East Wenxing Road to take bus no. 30B to Lundu Station (Ferry Terminal Station), where you can eaily find the ferry that can take you to the destination within 5min.

To Jimei, walk to Mingfa Xincheng bus stop to take bus no. 651 to get off at Jimei District Government Station. Then you can walk around to have a visit.

I am at Wanda Plaza, I thought it was close to the Convention Center but it is not. No problem, Wanda is really great, lots of places to eat and walk around, it's just perfect. Today I took a taxi to 湖滨北路与莲岳路 Hubin/Lianyue and walked all around the area and the lake.

So now my questions are: Can I take 30B bus from Wanda to the ferry terminal for Gulangyu? Which bus can I take to 湖滨北路与莲岳路? What about Minh Fa and Loi-ee jin? Sorry about the spelling, I passed those two areas downtown on my way back to Wanda now, they look like much fun in the evening, do you know them?

Can you give a suggestion for day trips? I have 4 full days more in Xiamen and will surely return, it's really beautiful and the people are great. Would Zhangzhou, Jincheng Island, Lieyu Island, Liushan, or Quanzhou be worth visiting? Other ideas you may have?

I'm afraid the bus no. 30B cannot be taken at Wanda Plaza. Anyway, walk from where you are to Wanda West Bus Stop to take bus no. 656 to Lundu Station, which is within walking distance from the ferry terminal to Gulangyu then.

To 湖滨北路与莲岳路, you need to walk from Wanda Plaza for around 150m to Hubian Huayuan Zone A Bus Stop to take bus no. 129 or 46 and get off at Lianhua Lukou East Station and then walk there.
