requirement of visa for transit halt at hong kong

Question

a team of officers are passing through hong kong and staying at hong kong for two days. officers on official passport. ladies also accompanying. please confirm requirement. all officers and ladies are indian citizens

It is not required. Their valid passport and tickets to the destination country are ok. But better book hotels before entry as the immigration officers may ask for that.
