I suggest you go to Guangzhou first, and then go to HongKong from Shenzhen. From Guangzhou to Shenzhen, you can take express train. The train journey takes around one hour and nineteen minutes and the ticket fare is about CNY100. From Shenzhen Luohu port, you may take subway to Hongkong directly.
