HELP FOR Xiamen airport STOPOVER

Hi! I will be flying from Manila (MNL) Airport to Beijing (PEK Airport) this 3rd week of April. However, there will be a stop in XM Gaoqui (XMN) Airpor before I flew to PEK. I havent contacted nor inquire with my airline. I just would like to know what this means as my Itinerary speaks merely of Beijing (PEK) as my airport. It merely mentrioned when I was searching my flight via the internet that there will be a stop at XMN. Please let me know what this means. This is the first time I availed of a china airline. Do I have to retrive my luggages upon arrival at XMN on my own? or the Airlines will do it? Do I have to pass through the procedures of an International or Domestic flights such as Customs and Immigration? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Generally speaking, you are not allowed to get off the plane when it stops in XM. If so, it is no need to retrive your luggage and pass the immigration. You need to pass the immgration in Beijing. However, in order to confirm, it is suggested to ask your airline company directly, so that you can avoid many troubles.
