How long does it take to go to the great wall from Haidian district?

Is Haidian district very convenient to go travel to downtown? Is it better to use public transportation or take a taxi? Thanks for your help!

Which part of the wall would you want to go from Haidian District? Well, Haidian District has a large area. What's your specific location? Anyway, subway is a good choice. You can take subway line 10 or line 4 from Haidian District to the downtown area.
